DR. DEADLY
Dr. Deadly is the alter ego of a New York psychologist, family woman, and crime fiction fan. Her Dr. Deadly side flips the balance – more books than people, more twisty than therapeutic, more gallows humor than gravity, more grittiness than…you get the idea. In Dr. Deadly’s world, crime fiction is the source of all insight.
Like a real-life therapist, Dr. Deadly is fascinated by the psyche and behavior, but her only client is crime fiction, which she analyzes in weekly sessions. (Or twice-weekly, when Dr. Deadly is more concerned.) She lives alone in a book-lined castle and ventures out only when she feels like it. The castle garden grows vegetables that taste exactly like pizza, red wine, and Diet Coke.
